Armored Core Last Raven

Postby Mr. Robot » Wed May 11, 2005 6:25 pm

It would appear that previous rumors of the next AC game being titled "The Last Raven" are becoming more fact.

The thread:

These sites contain info not only about ACLR, but also suggest that ACLR will be the last AC game for the PS2 as well as explain the origins of the Nexus series storyline.

All quite interesting, really, between the release dates stated and all the other stuff. Updates will undoubtable be posted in the thread as they come along.

Things like the release date may or may not be true, but with multiple sources now, it appears that ACLR does in fact exist 8) .

Also, I believe Havok was the one who originally found out about ACLR, IIRC.

Edit: Link to translation isn't working, I'll try and get her fixed here...

Edit2: All links are working now

Edit3: Some pics found by Havok (Seriously though, how DO you do it  ...):

I haven't been paying attention, so I don't know exactly how long that's been there, but ACLR is now up for pre-order, with a release staked for the 13th of June. Agetec hasn't officially changed their date, however, so it's very possible and likely to change. Expect an update and/or confirmation on the release during E3.

Edit: Oh yeah, and as a possible little detail, it might be a good idea to pre-order. If you'll all recall, ACNB was orignally staked at $30 just as ACLR is now, but later was upped to $40. If you pre-order now and pay all the money up-front, you might just be able to stick them with the original listing and save yourself $10  .

Despite the lack of ACLR at E3 and any word from Agetec, it appears that ACLR is moving forward at least a bit.

I've been checking regularly on ACLR's rating, given that its supposably only a couple weeks away, and its still RP. The ESRB has just posted ACLR as T (As if it would be anything else), indicating that the game should be near completion.

Since its now been rated, I'll wait and see if an article pops up about it going gold, but even though it only takes about 2 weeks to manufacture enough copies of the game, I'd expect a delay of a week or two at least unless they were quite literally JUST waiting on the ESRB before they sent it to the factory.

It's official, ACLR has gone gold and its June 13th release date has been maintained.

Better get ready everybody, ACLR is only a week away (Officially now  )!

For anybody who actually cares, being that Agetec has been pretty bad about putting stuff on their AC site for the last few games, they have updated it to at least include ACLR:

Although ACLR is set to launch tomorrow, June 13th, it would appear that EB and GS (Which are actually one and the same now, so I guess the difference is irrelevant) are registering that it has already shipped, meaning that they began shipping pre-ordered copies today.

Agetec has not confirmed shipment of ACLR, however keep in mind that EB and GS have had copies in their warehouse since they were made and sent form Agetec, so if they did ship them early, its very possible that you may be able to get ACLR tomorrow on its ship date as oppose to the usual day after it ships seen with Nexus, ACNB, and ACFF.

At any rate, its worth calling your local retailer and checking it out sometime tomorrow afternoon  .

I will edit this post as soon as I get confirmation that it has shipped and the first copies of the game have hit retail shelves. This is it guys, ACLR is upon us 8) .

Its officially shipped now. The article is dated the 13th, but since I checked this at 7:00 AM in the morning and Agetec is on the West Coast, either somebody was up really late at Agetec or it actually shipped on the 12th.

I have just picked up ACLR from EB, meaning that it is officially out. You should be able to get it at your loacl retailer that carries it today or at the very worst tomorrow.

And no, posting again wasn't necessary, but since I just noticed that we have finally gotten a new banner abotu ACLR, I decided to say something about it.

My thanks to whoever changed it (Meaning either Tim or Blight). Nexus is officially old  .
